About Creep Relief Valve CR Series

The CR-Series are general purpose self operated pressure relieving upstream pressure control valves suitable for controlling many kind of fluids. These valves open in proportion to the rise in inlet pressure beyond set value. Different soft seating discs are available for various fluids for wide pressure and temperature range up to 175oC. These back pressure regulating valves are also well suited for high & varying differential pressure.

It is widely used in Natural Gas, Pressure Creep Relief Function.

  • Easy to Maintain :Compact design with minimum number of moving parts. Actuator internals, valve disc & trim parts can be replaced without removing the regulator from pipeline.

  • Glandless Construction :Where positive zero gland leakage is required, the design scores over conventional solutions such as bellow seal etc.., as the gland itself eliminated and hence there wont be gland leakage. Glandless construction eliminates hysteresis, is in improvement of sensitivity & repeatability of the valve.

  • Tight Shut off Capability :Special trim design eliminates wear and erosion of seating. Providing excellent tight shut off capability over long working life.

  • Throttling type relief :Smooth sensitive throttling action minimizes pressure surge.

  • Low Pressure Buildup :Required flow achieved with minimum pressure buildup.

  • Reset :Better resetting capability than conventional relief valve. Relieve excess pressure and gets reset due to proportionate opening.
